₦1.94 Trillion Worth of Property Saved in 2024, Says CG of FFS, Engr. Jaji O. Abdulganiyu

Enjoined Nigerians to adhere to fire safety protocols and precautions The CG commiserated with the victims of Fire Outbreaks throughout the nation._ He urged the National Assembly to Repeal the Current Fire Service Act of 1963 which has become outdated while stating that President Tinubu remains committed to safeguarding the lives and properties of the people as aligned with his renewed hope agenda. In 2024, the Federal Fire Service effectively saved property worth 1.94 trillion naira while fewer lives were lost when compared to the preceding year, 2023. The Controller General of the Federal Fire Service (FFS), Engr. Abdulganiyu O. Jaji, has announced that in 2024, the Federal Fire Service successfully saved property valued at ₦1.94 trillion, while an estimated ₦67.1 billion worth of property was lost.
