SOWORE TRICK NIGERIAN YOUTHS WITH REVOLUTIONARY PROTESTS

The recent calls for revolution by the infamous Yele Sowore, who still clings to his assumed role as “National Chairman of AAC” even after suspension, has become one issue that needs to be seen clearly for what it is. Calling out Nigerians to engage in unlawful protests and inciting violence on the streets will do this nation no good.  We have not finished mourning the loss of lives at the last Shiite protests, yet Sowore in his blood-thirsty quest for relevance would rather put other Nigerian lives at risk, all for his inordinate ambition. Even our former president Goodluck Jonathan once said his political ambition was not worth the blood of any Nigerian, but it seems the reverse is the case for Yele Sowore as the peace of Nigeria is worth nothing to him and his band of marauding ‘cashtivists’ who engage in their brand of political activism by risking the safety of other citizens. The Vice Chancellor of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Prof. Eyitope Ogunbodede  said “Our entrepreneurship programme is also been upgraded to serve our students.  We are no longer going to produce graduates who will be looking for employment after graduation.  We are working to ensure any OAU graduand will not only employ himself but also others,” he said.
